Biography
Nicolas Krepostman, M.D., is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist with MyMichigan Health and a member of the comprehensive heart and vascular team.
As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Krepostman works with patients who have cardiac-related conditions such as coronary artery disease, atherosclerosis, peripheral vascular disease, valvular and structural heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, congenital heart defects and other complex cardiac conditions.
“I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember, largely inspired by my father, who is also a cardiologist,” he said. “From an early age, he showed me how meaningful patient-doctor relationships can be and the positive impact you can have on people’s lives. I chose interventional cardiology because it allows me to form those same relationships while performing procedures that can significantly improve quality of life. As someone who grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, it is an honor to return home and care for the community that raised me.”
Philosophy of Care
“My goal is always to treat my patients as if they were members of my own family,” he said. “Shared decision-making is incredibly important to me, and I want my patients to feel fully informed and comfortable with their treatment plans.”
