Biography

David Lemos, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialized fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine and foot and ankle surgery. He treats both athletes and general orthopedics patients and is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of injuries, disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

“The field of orthopedics offers me the diversity of working with patients in the clinic, as well as fixing their injuries in the operating room,” he said.

Philosophy of Care

“My approach to care is to work closely with my patients to identify the source of their injury or problem,” he said. “From there, I try to determine if the problem can be fixed non-operatively, before exploring surgical options.”

Special Interests and Procedures

Dr. Lemos specializes in orthopedic sports medicine, including arthroscopic surgery and joint replacements of the knees, shoulders, ankles and hips. He also provides general fracture care and non-operative musculoskeletal care.
