Biography
Tara Moore, D.O., specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and sees patients at MyMichigan Obstetrics & Gynecology in Sault Ste. Marie.
While working in the intensive care unit (ICU) as a tech, Dr. Moore enjoyed assisting physicians in procedures which lead her to wanting to become a physician. During medical school she thought she would want to work in the ICU but on an OB/GYN rotation she quickly changed her mind. “My supervising physician let me deliver a baby and I was hooked after that,” said Dr. Moore.
Philosophy of Care
Being an obstetrics and gynecology provider is fulfilling to Dr. Moore because she gets to help women in all walks of life and throughout their entire life.
It is important to Dr. Moore that she is listening to everything her patient has to say, educating them on their diagnosis and treatment options; and then allowing them to choose the treatment option that they feel best suites them. “I want them to feel at ease with me and have an active role in achieving results,” she added.
